LUBA 3 AWD Warranty and Ownership Guide (2026)

Research status: Manufacturer-document research. Yard Robot Lab has not physically tested the LUBA 3 AWD. Warranty information below was verified against Mammotion’s current U.S. after-sales policy on September 20, 2026.

The warranty on a robot mower matters because the battery, drive motors, positioning equipment, charging station and navigation sensors are expensive components. Mammotion’s current LUBA 3 AWD policy is useful because it lists covered components rather than giving only a single headline duration.

Current LUBA 3 AWD limited-warranty period

Mammotion’s current U.S. policy lists a three-year limited warranty for the LUBA 3 AWD Series components shown in its table, including the battery, motor, LiDAR Vision Module, PCBA, GPS Kit and charging station. For the 3000/3000H/5000/5000H variants, the applicable RTK reference station is also listed at three years.

Why this is notable

Batteries are often covered for less time than the complete machine in outdoor power equipment. Mammotion’s current LUBA 3 table lists the battery at three years, so YRL records that component explicitly instead of assuming battery coverage from a general mower warranty.

Consumables are different

Mammotion’s warranty documentation for its mower families distinguishes consumable parts such as cutting blades, tires, cutting discs and charging cables from core covered components. Owners should therefore treat routine cutting hardware as an expected maintenance expense rather than assuming every replacement will be a warranty claim. The policy does provide a 30-day replacement for listed wearing parts when a defect is due to materials or workmanship.

Warranty start date

Mammotion states that coverage generally begins from the first purchase from Mammotion or an authorized dealer, based on the sales receipt or invoice, with alternative rules where the purchase date cannot be verified or for preordered products. Keep purchase documentation.

Connectivity after the included period

According to Mammotion’s 4G service terms, the 2026 LUBA 3 AWD includes a built-in 4G module and three years of free data. Cellular service after that period may add an ownership cost if you choose to continue it. Mammotion says the 4G service is optional and describes an antenna-over-datalink alternative for positioning. Check what connectivity your particular setup needs before treating the mower purchase as your entire long-term cost.

Software matters after purchase

LUBA 3 is a software-defined product as well as a mower. Mammotion’s 2026 release log shows continuing changes to positioning, mapping, obstacle avoidance, slope-driving logic and charging behavior. YRL therefore treats firmware version and release history as part of long-term ownership rather than freezing a review at launch-day behavior.

What YRL will track on the model pages

For each LUBA 3 variant, YRL intends to keep battery, slope, recommended area, navigation hardware, connectivity, warranty components, official manual and replacement-part information together. That makes it easier to compare the actual ownership package rather than comparing marketing headlines.
