Husqvarna Automower 450X EPOS: Specs, Blades, Parts and Maintenance

Replacement blades

Husqvarna currently lists both Classic and Endurance blade options as fitting the 450X EPOS. The Endurance design uses four cutting edges and is marketed for longer service life. Exact SKU and availability should be checked against the mower’s product number before ordering.

Maintenance schedule and wear

The 2024 operator’s manual says to inspect the blade disc and blades weekly when the mower is new, increasing or decreasing the interval according to observed wear. Husqvarna gives a typical blade life of roughly 2–5 weeks, while noting that operating hours, lawn size, grass, soil, sand, fertilizer and debris can change that considerably.

When blades are replaced, the manual calls for replacing the screws as well and replacing all three blades/screws together to maintain a balanced cutting system.

Other supported parts and accessories

Husqvarna maintains a model-specific support page with spare-parts diagrams, manuals and accessories. Current listed accessories include compatible blade products and the X-Series Terrain Kit. YRL will use the model/SKU-specific parts diagrams as the authority for repair parts rather than guessing interchangeability.

Battery aging

Husqvarna’s documentation notes that reduced operating time between charges can indicate a battery reaching the end of its useful life. Battery replacement is therefore an important ownership item for older high-hour machines, but exact replacement battery selection should be made from the mower SKU/parts diagram.

A discontinued robot mower does not disappear from people’s yards. As installed machines age, searches for blades, batteries, wheels, charging equipment and repair parts can become more useful than new-product shopping searches. YRL will preserve these model files as ownership resources.
